Meet our Staff
Pastor Paul Fulton
Pastor Paul Fulton began his ministry in 2001 and has served Churches in North and South Carolina before coming to First Baptist in February of 2012.
Paul is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Coastal Carolina University.
Paul is married to Mandy, formerly of Gaffney, SC. They married in August, 2005 and have two daughters, Caroline and Harper. The Fultons enjoy living in Homerville and take part in many aspects of this wonderful community. Paul enjoys traveling with his family, hunting, fishing, reading and watching movies. His desire is to see God glorified through the ministry of FBC.
Chelsea came to Homerville in 2005 from Valdosta, GA. She worked in Homerville for a year and half before transferring to Valdosta until 2010.
Chelsea came to FBC Homerville in January 2017 from previously working with HUMC. She has an Associates degree in Business and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Chelsea has 2 children, her son Sage and her daughter Lila!
Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, reading, visiting the ocean as much as possible, art and photography!
Rev. Rob Hobby
Associate Pastor of Worship
Rev. Robert Hobby grew up in South Georgia and comes from a family of Baptist church ministers. Saved and baptized as a young boy, he accepted God’s call to full time ministry in 1976. He received his BA in Music from Presbyterian College in SC, and his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary in 1988. Rob’s 42 years in worship leadership includes serving churches in Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and Florida.
His missions efforts have led him on numerous stateside mission trips, as well as to Russia, Moldova, China, and even North Korea. Rob has been married to V-Ann, a retired school teacher, for 35 years and they have daughter Deana (married to Brian), son Blake (married to Daphne), and three wonderful grandchildren. Rob has officiated high school sports for almost 40 years and enjoys traveling with V-Ann, visiting the kids, and hunting/fishing in his spare time.
Director of Youth Ministry
Stephanie Herlocker grew up in Coffee County, Ga. She has been actively involved in church her whole life. She was saved and baptized at the age of 9 and began teaching in VBS at the age of 19. In 2005, Stephanie married her high school sweetheart, Rev. Derek Herlocker and served along side him in youth ministry from 2005-2013 at Broxton Baptist Church and from 2014-2018 here at First Baptist Homerville.
Stephanie has two children, Breana and Braden. Stephanie has a full time job as an educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, and is seeking a specialist degree in Teacher Leadership in the Fall.
Stephanie enjoys traveling with family, DIY projects, sports, being outside, visiting with friends, and dogs. It is her desire to see the young people of the church grow in God’s Word and their desire to worship Him.
